Drum Making Workshop – Create your own drum
An experience of creation, ancestry, and reconnection through sound.
During the workshop, you will be guided step by step through a sacred and therapeutic process of creating your own drum.
We begin with a sharing circle about the history of drums and how they are present in virtually every culture around the world, used as instruments of healing, celebration, expanded consciousness, and spiritual connection. We will also explore how the sound of the drum can influence brainwave frequencies, supporting deep meditative states, and how it acts on both the physical and energetic/spiritual fields.
Next, we enter the Power Animal Journey — a guided meditation accompanied by the rhythm of the drum, where you access your inner strength and are introduced to the guardian spirit of your drum.
Upon returning from the journey, we move into an art-therapy moment: you will paint and express your personal symbols, qualities, and intentions onto your drum. After painting, we apply varnish, and while it dries, we prepare the drum skin and cords. We then assemble the body of the drum and conclude with its tuning and activation.
At the end of the day, you will take home not just an instrument, but a spiritual ally infused with your essence and purpose.

We are Brenda and Osmar, walkers on the shamanic path for over 15 years.
It was through the drums that our journey found form and meaning. They came to us as a confirmation of a soul purpose and, since then, have guided us to places, encounters, and learnings we could never have imagined.
Today, on Portuguese lands, we continue to honor this calling, offering guided experiences with presence, respect, and authenticity. For us, the drum is not just an instrument — it is living energy, it is listening, it is a path.
Each workshop is a real encounter, where we create bonds, share wisdom, and walk alongside those who feel the call to create, reconnect, and journey with the drum as an ally for healing and awareness.
